Sonesta Simply Suites Jacksonville

The bed was quite comfortable and cozy. I ended up going down to St. Augustine for the day, and it was a bit closer to that as well. It is outside the city, but is close to a lot of different things. The room was a pretty good size, with a comfortable work space as well as plenty of outlets (just have to figure it all out with all the devices). Not very noisy at all. Had a kitchen if you wanted to do some meals or whatever on your own. Also a bonus was the laundry was free (as was the gym, but I was too tired to use it)...which was nice so I could do a load of laundry and continue on my trip with all clean clothes!!!

We loved the Gazebo, the benches, and the pond and surrounding nature view. The room was a nice size for 2 with a mini stove top and fridge/freezer. I recommend bringing a skillet if possible. They also offer laundry services and a fitness center with complimentary coffee. I would bring condiments from the local Walmart. The bed could be updated but the room including the sheets were clean. Everyone from the staff was friendly.

The room was cozy and just right for our stay. The lake in the back of the property along with the gazebo and fire pit were a great touch also!! The front desk staff were so nice and eager to assist at anytime….Even with a simple request to help with our fire stick remote!! My husband and I were very pleased at how the gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond for us!! I hate that I can’t remember his name but he was the real MVP!!! He was there on May 26th when we checked in at around 7:00pm est and on June 2nd when we checked out at around 9:50 am est. I hope corporate sees these reviews and that this narrows it down to the gentleman that I’m speaking of because he needs a bonus or something because he’s the absolute best!!!! We can tell that he’s genuinely a great person! We will definitely be back!!! Sincerely, K. Henry
